Thank you and Good Luck, Angela!

June brought the bittersweet news that our Director of Advocacy & Engagement, Angela Inzano, will be leaving us at the end of the month.

In her nearly six-year tenure with the CBF, Angela has been the point person for the CBF’s legislative and policy advocacy work. One of the many issues she has played a key role in is the development of a comprehensive and long-term solution to the student debt crisis, a proposal the CBF is actively advocating for in Washington right now and is more timely than ever.

In addition to her advocacy work, Angela managed the day-to-day operation of the CBF Legal Aid Academy and the CBF Pro Bono Support Program. She also staffed the CBF Young Professionals Board, the CBA Legal Aid Committee, and supervised many CBF interns in her time with us.

Angela will soon be starting as a Policy Specialist position at the ACLU of Illinois. We thank her for all her good work and look forward to continuing to work with her in her new role.

Watch for more soon on next steps with the CBF’s advocacy work.
