A Chicago summer is short, but there’s always time for hanging out with friends and enjoying the weather while it lasts. In our first 70 years at the CBF, one of our key goals in bringing Chicago’s legal community together around our common cause of equal access to justice always has been to have fun while we are doing it. The CBF Young Professionals Board has hosted a number of fair-weather events throughout the years as a way to introduce new people to and raise funds for the CBF, and ever importantly, catch up with friends and colleagues. From a boat cruise to a summer associates-focused mini golf outing, Cubs games to happy hour socials, these gatherings were always the most fun way to spread the word about the CBF and get new and excited people involved.
