Thanks to the leadership of 2018 Campaign Chair Rebecca Eisner, partner-in-charge of the Chicago office of Mayer Brown, the Campaign Leadership Team, countless volunteers, and the thousands of individuals who contributed, the CBF’s 12th Annual Investing in Justice Campaign set new records in individual donations. More than 5,200 individual attorneys and legal professionals contributed more than $1.55 million, both the highest amounts in the Campaign’s 12-year history. 153 law firms, corporate legal departments and other law-related organizations participated.

This year’s Campaign made possible nearly $2.3 million in grants and support for the work of more than 30 pro bono and legal aid organizations and related initiatives. Thanks to a number of generous matching contributions from participating firms and companies, the CBF is able to dedicate 100% of individual contributions to the Campaign towards this support and to leverage nearly $700,000 in additional funding from CBF foundation and government partners. More details are in the official press release.
