Thanks to the strong leadership of 2016 Campaign Chair Susan Levy, Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Northern Trust, the Campaign Leadership Team, countless volunteers, and the thousands of individuals who contributed, the CBF’s 10th Annual Investing in Justice Campaign set new records across the board.
A new record of 154 law firms, corporate legal departments and other law-related organizations participated in this year’s Campaign. More than 5,000 individual attorneys and legal professionals contributed more than $1.5 million, both of which also are new records for the Campaign.

The thousands of individual contributions to the Campaign leverage hundreds of thousands in additional funding for this work as well. The 2016 Campaign yielded more than $2 million in grants to 33 pro bono and legal aid organizations thanks to a number of generous matching contributions from participating firms and companies and additional foundation and government funding the CBF is able to leverage through the Campaign grants process. You can see more details are in the official press release.
