The CBF is excited to welcome the newest member of our team, Davida Yalley, as our new Administrative & Program Coordinator. In this role, Davida will be responsible for supporting the leadership team, assisting in program management, and helping coordinate the work that is crucial to a well-functioning office.
Davida graduated from Northwestern this past Spring and studied Communications Studies and Human-Computer interaction. She held numerous leadership roles in school and was the Development Intern at Family Matters in Rogers Park. When she is not at the CBF, Davida enjoys a variety of what she calls “grandma-coded” activities including crocheting, embroidery, and taking leisurely strolls along Lake Michigan.
Welcoming Davida to the team comes with the bittersweet news that our current Administrative & Program Coordinator, Sunitha Vallinayagam, is leaving to pursue a Master of Public Policy at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy in the Fall. Sunitha has been a tremendous asset to the CBF and our mission during her tenure, we wish her the best of luck and are so proud of her!
