Thank You and Good Luck, Jess!

Jessica Bednarz

After almost ten years at the CBF, Jessica (Jess) Bednarz, the CBF’s Associate Director of Innovation & the JEP, is moving on for an exciting opportunity to work with the Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System (IAALS) as their new Director of Legal Services and the Profession. In her new role, Jess will continue her innovation and access to justice work on a national scale.

Jess joined the CBF as Program Manager in 2013, where she played a key role in the CBF’s advocacy, training, and other programs. After a brief stint consulting out of state, she rejoined the CBF staff as the Assistant Director of the Justice Entrepreneurs Project (JEP) and later became the Director of the JEP before taking on her current Associate Director role. In her time at the CBF, Jess made a big impact in almost every aspect of the CBF’s work, highlighted by her work with the JEP and the CBA/CBF Task Force on the Sustainable Practice of Law & Innovation.

While it is bittersweet as Jess moves on to her next act, we thank Jess for her great work throughout her time at the CBF and look forward to continuing to work with her in her new national role.
