As everyone enjoyed an impressive array of great food and drink, guests were also able to check out the museum highlighting the history and renovation of the hospital. In addition, we were thrilled to able to thank and hear from Cook County Commissioner Larry Suffredin, a longtime champion for access to justice who also played a critical leadership role in saving the historic hospital from demolition.
Our sincere thanks to our event co-chairs, Jeanne Doran of LexisNexis and Nancy Roberts Linder of Chapman and Cutler, for their ongoing great leadership in the event, and to all of the many law firm and corporate sponsors, volunteers, and individual supporters who made Passport to Chicago another big success. The event will help the CBF continue to improve access to justice for people in need and make the legal system more fair, equitable, and effective for all.
