The Illinois Judicial Conference recently adopted a new strategic agenda for the Judicial Branch that starts with a first priority of ensuring accessible justice and equal protection under the law.
Building off its initial strategic agenda for 2019-2022, which Chief Justice Mary Jane Theis fittingly notes started the transformation of the Illinois Courts, the new agenda sets an ambitious course for the judicial branch to continue to improve and deliver access to justice in a more fair, efficient, and equitable manner.
The CBF looks forward to continuing to work closely with the Judicial Conference to advance these goals, and Executive Director Bob Glaves and former CBF board members Justice Mary K. Rochford and Judge Celia Gamrath continue to serve among a distinguished group of Judicial Conference members who are helping to move this ambitious strategic agenda forward.
