As this year’s Investing in Justice Campaign heads into the homestretch, many participating firms and companies already are hitting new highs and having a lot of fun while they are doing it!
Led this year by Laura Stein of Mondelēz International and Randy Mehrberg of Jenner & Block in this 20th Anniversary year for the Campaign, Chicago’s legal community continues to show our exemplary commitment to access to justice as the Campaign heats up for a final push this summer.
Many of the more than 130 participating firms and companies have reported new internal records or are seeing solid increases with their campaigns this year, including eleven law firms that have already achieved 100% participation:

CBF staff and representatives from the many outstanding legal aid partners who benefit from the Campaign contributions have attended 16 internal firm or company events for the Campaign. These events have featured several creative strategies to highlight the important work the Campaign makes possible, including lunch & learns, happy hours, CLEs, and internal competitions. These events promote the Campaign, allow the legal aid partners to highlight the impact of their work, and offer lawyers and other legal professionals at the firms and companies a chance to come together around this common cause.

Troutman Pepper Locke continues its tradition of pie throwing to encourage donations to the Campaign!
Jenner & Block LLP held multiple events this year to promote the Campaign, including a Hot Wheels race!
McGuireWoods LLP held a raffle day, bake sale, paper airplane day contest, and the Hot Ones Hot Wings Challenge pictured above!
