Congratulations to the Newest Cohort of JEP Graduates!

June 19, 2026

The CBF Justice Entrepreneurs Project (JEP) celebrated the graduation of the November 2024 JEP cohort, the 21st cohort to complete the JEP program. The JEP provides training in a collaborative office setting and community to help participating lawyers establish sustainable law practices that provide affordable services to middle-income people and small businesses.

Over the past 18 months, Bruce Cook, Carolyn Howard, Cecelia Towns-Scott, Jessica Meyer, Sharmon Paris, Tersiet Workneh, and TiShaunda McPherson completed the JEP curriculum, including business development trainings, mentorship programs, and other coaching designed to help attorneys launch their own socially-conscious law firms. Over that time, they have built innovative, client-centered law practices designed to better serve their communities. These seven lawyers now join a strong JEP alumni network that continues to expand access to justice for the underserved middle market.

Congratulations to these outstanding attorneys on this milestone!
