The Chicago Bar Association Legal Aid Committee celebrated the impressive achievements of our legal aid community in 2024 and released its annual highlights booklet this month.
The Legal Aid Committee, co-chaired this year by Aisha Edwards of Cabrini Green Legal Aid and Nubia Willman of Latinos Progresando, brings together representatives from dozens of legal aid organizations serving the Chicago area to address topics of common interest, share information, and foster a sense of community.
The CBF has long partnered with and supported the Committee as part of our broader effort to help build a strong pro bono and legal aid system to serve our community.
