Mental Health & Wellness in the Workplace: Creating a Healthy Environment for Yourself, Your Colleagues, and Clients

Who Should Attend: All staff members.
Why You Should Attend: It’s no secret that legal aid providers work with individuals coping with mental illness on a regular basis, and many must do so while dealing with mental health concerns themselves. This course will provide a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of mental health, focusing on concepts of wellness, individual self-care, and caring for your work community – clients included.
This is the first course of a two-part mental health series and will lay the foundation for our upcoming Crisis Intervention and De-Escalation training. Those interested in attending the Crisis Intervention training are strongly recommended to first attend this training.
