Last month, the CBF Justice Entrepreneurs Project celebrated the graduation of the January 2021 cohort, the nineteenth cohort of participants to successfully complete the 18-month program. The graduates include Amy Cook, Terra Gross, and India Rios. All three graduates have built socially conscious law firms and innovative businesses that offer valuable, cost-effective legal services to the middle market.

Amy Cook Law, LLC offers a wide range of legal services and mediation for small businesses, non-profits, and creative professionals. The firm has a particular interest in serving authors and small businesses and nonprofits working to create healthy and sustainable food systems for all.
Attuned Legal, LLC, bills itself as a LGBTQIA2S+ supportive, intersectionally feminist, and kink-friendly law firm that serves entrepreneurs, property owners, and renters. The firm’s service offerings include DIY civil legal support, microbusiness legal advice and drafting, property legal advice and drafting, and Cook County pre-suit negotiations and litigation representation.
Seven Eleven Law Group is committed to helping entertainers, entrepreneurs, and creatives secure a strong legal foundation for their business while building generational wealth and a timeless legacy. The firm focuses on trademark registration, opposition, and litigation services.
We are incredibly proud of our newly minted alumni and the practices they have built. They join a growing network of dedicated lawyers providing accessible and cost-effective legal services to our community. If you know anyone who needs high quality, cost-effective legal assistance in any of these practice areas, please consider referring them to the JEP network!
