Congratulations, Samoane!

We are excited to share that Samoane Williams has recently been promoted to Senior Manager of Training and the Justice Entrepreneurs Project (JEP)! The JEP is the CBF’s legal incubator program empowering lawyers to lead socially conscious law practices and innovative businesses that offer valuable, cost-effective legal services and products to consumers of all incomes.

In her new role, Samoane will continue to serve as the point person and manager for the JEP’s growing network of law firms, and manage, evaluate, and continuously improve the training curriculum, mentoring program, and knowledge management tools for the JEP. Samoane will also continue to play a lead role in the program’s community education and outreach efforts.

Samoane has also taken on additional responsibilities within the CBF. She now coordinates the Chicago Bar Association’s Legal Aid Committee and various trainings throughout the year for the CBF’s Legal Aid Academy.
