The CBF congratulates our colleague Greg Boyle, a Partner at Jenner & Block and this year’s CBF Board President, for his recognition as one of Crain’s 2022 Notable Nonprofit Leaders.
Greg has been a longtime leader in the CBF and the larger cause of access to justice for many years before stepping into the role of Board President this year, and we are excited that he is being recognized for his exemplary leadership. As Crain’s noted in their feature on Greg:
As president of CBF, the largest voluntarily supported bar foundation in the country, Greg Boyle co-leads annual trips to Washington, D.C., and Springfield with members of Chicago’s legal community to educate government officials on legislation that improves access to justice. While he was chair of the advocacy committee, CBF successfully advocated for the passage of legislative initiatives to increase access to justice, including eviction court name change legislation, which simplified the law to make the eviction process more understandable for tenants and landlords alike. He also led efforts to simplify statutory language, replacing terms like “prayer for relief” and “ad damnum” with plain language alternatives. Boyle is a partner at Jenner & Block.
