More than 150 supporters came together earlier this month at Aster Hall for the 12th annual Passport to Chicago event. This year’s event brought the city’s spirit to life with Chicago-themed bites, a local restaurant gift card raffle, and a new interactive Chicago trivia passport contest. Congratulations to Michael Croghan for winning the passport contest, which allowed him to designate a special $1,000 grant to a CBF-supported legal aid organization of his choice. And congratulations to Life Span, which he chose to receive this special grant!
We are grateful to our event co-chairs, Jeanne Doran of LexisNexis and Nancy Roberts Linder of Chapman and Cutler, for their outstanding leadership, and to the many law firm and corporate partners, volunteers, and individual supporters who made the night a success. Thanks to your generosity, the proceeds from Passport to Chicago will help the CBF continue to expand access to justice and work toward a legal system that is fairer, more equitable, and more effective for everyone.
